Our Integrated and globalized world has given each of us a disturbing ring-side view of desperate peoples seeking refuge from war and violence. Turkey has taken in 1/9 million Syrian refugees, and tiny Lebanon plays host to 1.1 million in addition to the Palestinian refugees which Lebanon has hosted for decades.
