Youth Quest

Middle School and High School Youth, join us for Youth Quest 2023-2024! We will meet 7 times during the 2023-2024 year, starting on October 22nd, from 3:30-5:00 in The Upper Room at St. Edmund’s. Taught by The Rev. Susanne Wright Nava and The Rev. Jonathan Stoner. We will explore a program offered by Yale’s Youth Ministry Institute. We will be uncovering what it might mean to live a life in the Spirit, to have “life abundant” offered by God in Christ (John 10:10). We hope to continue to offer our young the people the tools to thrive in our ever-changing and challenging world, to set a foundation of faith that will follow them throughout their lives, wherever the Spirit leads them. It is our plan to end the school year with a Quest Trip, a pilgrimage at the start of summer! If you have questions, contact Susanne: susanne@saintedmunds.org.

Meeting Dates for 2023-2024: October 22, 2023, November 19, 2023, January 21, 2024, February 18th, 2024 March 17th, 2024, April 21, 2024, May 19th, 2024

Make a Joyful Noise

Make a Joyful Noise is our new Sunday school program starting on the 4th Sunday of each month for preschool age children through elementary school. We are using elements of Godly Play. Godly Play is a Montessori based program, incorporating storytelling, wonder, art and play to introduce children to the rhythms of Episcopal worship, Scripture, and to the Way of Jesus. We invite older children to help facilitate the storytelling and art projects during our time together. We gather in the room adjacent to the Cowans Room at 10:00am and will join worship in time for Eucharist. Reverend Susanne and Sofia Nava are our primary facilitators. If you have any questions, contact Rev. Susanne: susanne@saintedmunds.org
