Have you begun to wonder what life will be like without kids at home? Or with kids at home who are adults already?
We are initiating a monthly meeting for moms to explore the challenges and freedoms inherent in our lives as parents of emerging adults and to support each other as we define what this phase might look like for each of us. The group is intended to focus more on our own transitioning lives than on our children’s transitioning lives as they were when our children were younger.
Our initial meeting is in November, and then we would meet monthly January through June. If you are a mom beginning–or already in the middle of–transitioning to parenting emerging adults and would like to share the journey with other moms in transition, please join us for the introductory meeting on Tuesday, November 10, in the Cowan Room at St. Edmund’s.
