EDIFY Sponsors Rise Against Hunger
On June 4th, EDIFY, The Edmund’s Institute for Faith and Youth will sponsor an event with Rise Against Hunger, an organization that responds to emergencies around the world. We will be packaging meals consisting of dry and dehydrated goods which will then be distributed to Poland and/or Romania to help feed the Ukrainian refugees flocking to these bordering countries with Ukraine. This event will create 10,152 meals. We will be engaging with high schoolers in the community to offer service hours for youth as well as ideally employing the whole St. Edmund’s Church and Nursery School Community in this effort.
