Susan Heard brought us a wonderful musical event on Valentine’s Day benefiting the Songs By Heart Foundation dedicated to improving the lives of those facing age-related memory issues through the power of music HERE.
Our own Rob Hovencamp and Richard Seymour were joined by LA Opera members and local vocalists Frederick Ballentine, Vanessa Becerra, Suzanna Guzmán, Peter Walsh and Frances Young Bennett. The afternoon began with selections from La Traviata followed by Verdi, Puccini, Bernstein, Gershwin and Rogers and Hammerstein! Susan and Bruce Heard provided a reception following.
