A few years ago, some parishioners took a class with Father Colville to become lay Eucharistic visitors. If you are still interested in doing this, now is the time to start putting that class to use. If you did not take the class but are interested in participating in lay pastoral care, now it the time to start learning.
Whether you took the class with Fr. Colville or not, the next step is to meet the requirements of The Diocese of Los Angeles which requires all to take a class on misconduct prevention before you begin this ministry unless you have taken it within the last 5 years and it is on file with the Diocese of LA.
Trainings will be offered at later dates but they will most likely be offered in locations more distant from us. If you are interested in the class, please let Mo. Judy know; if you have already taken this class and wish to be part of this new ministry, please also let Mo. Judy know. In addition, Mo.
