Our Lenten Study Book this year is written by former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, exploring the four essential components of the Christian life: Holy Baptism, Holy Scripture, Holy Eucharist, and Common Prayer.
Sunday Afternoon Classes 4:30pm to 5:45pm and followed by simple potluck suppers will be held in the Cowan’s Room:
The First Sunday in Lent, February 14, sees an afternoon concert (see below) at St. Edmund’s and also Valentine’s Day. It seems best not to pile too much else onto that day.
Please purchase the book on your own through Vromans or your preferred book vendor. Available at Amazon and also in e-book form.
On Palm Sunday afternoon, March 20th, a special focus session on “Being Christian” will emphasize dialogue about the book. All Lenten course participants are welcome, with a special invitation to those traveling on the Edmund Heritage Tour to England in June, who will have opportunity to meet Archbishop Williams for lunch.
