Parishioner Augusta Arnall battled against an intertwining group of maladies prior to her death in 2015, including Parkinsons, Lewy Bodies Syndrome, and the less well-known Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) which produces often terrifying hallucinations.
One of brave Augusta’s coping mechanisms was to paint her hallucinations.
Following her 2015 death in Utah, husband Frank Arnall returned to Southern California and the St. Edmund’s fold. He has had a number of Augusta’s paintings made into cards, which will be on offer during the September 17th St. Edmund’s Street Fair, with all proceeds to be donated to St. Edmund’s Parish.
