Those interested in serving as a compassionate companion for people facing the end of life are
invited to take part in an in-depth end-of-life education offered by By Your Side®:
End-of-Life Vigil Companion Training,
sponsored by Episcopal Communities & Services.
The five-week training course will be held in two offerings on Wednesday nights.
The first session begins on August 29 from
7:30 to 9 p.m. at their Monrovia office;
the second begins on October 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
at MonteCedro.
After completing training, volunteers will be free to minister in their own parishes and communities of influence, or to serve “under-familied” and homeless patients at local hospitals and long-term care facilities.
