The call of God to serve as Seventh Rector of St. Edmund’s has been among my greatest joys. We have achieved much, and, even more than what we have together achieved, I am glad to have shared the pilgrim Way with so many fine and faithful folk these last twenty-three years. This coming Sunday we will commemorate our common labor and shared journey as God, the Ever-burning Pillar leads us forward.
Canon Colville Smythe returns to preach, and Sylvia Smythe to lead our Bell Choir. Robert Hovencamp and the Choir have studied to bring us fine music, and there are other matters afoot to which I am not privy.
