In preparation for History Day on June 16th, the Transition Committee would like to ask the congregation for help in creating a timeline for important events in the church’s history.
The first section, now completed, was the timeline done for the years of Father George’s leadership. We now have two new timelines up on the wall in Fellows Hall, one for the 1940’s and 1950’s, the other for the 1960’s through the 1980’s. We need help from everyone in developing them.
On Sunday, June 3rd, Laureen Chang will be on the close after both services in order to receive suggestions for important events that occurred during the 1940’s and 1950’s. If you have knowledge or memories of any events that might be included on this timeline, please see Laureen at that time.
Knowledge and memories of events that occurred during the 1960’s through the 1980’s will be collected by Laureen on the close after both services the following Sunday, June 10th.
