7:30pm Advent Two, December 6th
This Second Sunday of Advent, December 6th the Parish will offer our annual Liturgy of Lessons and Carols at 7:30 in the evening.
The Choir, joined by guests from the LA Opera Chorus, will perform the music of Christiansen, Nygard, Vaughan-Williams, Helvey, Guilmant, Manz and Culloton as the Scriptures shaping the Advent Season sound forth in punctuated readings.
Choirmaster Robert Hovencamp will lead the Choir, together with St. Edmund’s Aeolian-Skinner/Rosales pipe organ. The Liturgy includes Advent hymns and anthems sung by congregation and Choir.
A festive reception follows the Liturgy in the Parish Hall. Bring your friends and share the Word!
