“Healing Hearts Across Borders” (mission for the next trip to Tijuana to to help give the many many children living at the dumps a Christmas
to remember.
There will be the donation box on the church stairs Sunday mornings beginning October 18 continuing October 25, November 1 and
November 8.
During that time we will be collecting Christmas stocking stuffers for the children. Our emphasis is to collect check donations to be given to the team who will purchase new items for the youth’s from Costco in Tijuana. This makes it possible to have a gift for each child. Purchasing in Tijuana helps us because getting large items across the border is not possible as the bus cannot accommodate.
Consider joining one of the trips to TJ to appreciate the medical care and dental care the families get are amazing. There is so much more the donations, clothes, books, which mean so much to the families.
Ask Reyna Palapa about personal experience as a translator! Anne Herold and Pam Risinger will accept all donations which will be processed through Healing Hands Across the border. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive acknowledgement and receipt through HHAB.
