This Sunday we will celebrate the first Sunday in Advent with festivities that fill the Close!
CRAFT FAIR
Local artisens will be on hand selling their beautiful handmade items. Browse or do some Christmas shopping before or after worship. Food and drinks will also be available.
GOAT YOGA
Spanky and Pippen, two Nigerian dwarf goats will be arriving at noon to lead us in “goat yoga”. Spectators are welcome and are sure to be entertained as these two leap on the backs of those in downward dog. The class is $25 a person, please contact Heather to reserve your spot.
ADVENT WREATH MAKING
Advent means coming, and making a wreath and using it at home can help center us around the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior. Materials to make your own advent wreath will be available Sunday during the craft fair, first come first served. There is no cost, but donations are gladly accepted and will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for Hillsides home for children.
JOYFUL GIVING AT CHRISTMAS
St Edmund’s continues its tradition of providing Christmas gifts for children at Hillsides. Tags will be available on the close this Sunday. Please take a tag or two, then return the tag and unwrapped gift to the marked box in the church narthex before December 16. Gifts may also be returned to the Chapel.
