THE FEAST OF THE BAPTISM OF OUR LORD Epiphanytide, January 8th, 2017

The Feast of the Epiphany occurs this Friday…the celebration of the arrival of the Magi at Christ’s manger.
In the clear night sky of late, a comet near Venus has been visible using binoculars, and I pulled by trusty Bushnell’s out for a view. This may metaphorically recall to us that Stars and Signs are still to be followed when they put us on the Christ trail.
May quests and wonders mark your New Year.
Blessed Epiphanytide,

Word comes of the death of former parishioner Lyle Cunningham December 13th in Whitefish, Montana where he an Lonnie had retired and become active at All Saints’ Church. May he Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
