Lenten Suppers & Exchange
5pm – 6:30pm Sundays in Lent
Join Table Talk gatherings for a Simple Lenten Supper in Lent, with clergy presentations and general discussion regarding the strand of Christianity found in Anglicanism and its American iteration, the Episcopal Church.
Christianity arrived in the British Isles in the second century and manifested a unique Celtic and British approach to the Faith. Even after submission to the Roman Church in the Fifth Century at the Council of Whitby, Celtic and British approaches suffused the Church in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Celtic Jesus seems miles apart from Roman Jesus then and now.
If you would like to offer dinner, or contribute a side-dish, please contact the Parish Office. A “head count” will be very helpful as a supper will be on offer. Please register course interest with Isabel Roa at isabelroa@aol.com
