The Reverend Mark Dawson

Mark Dawson was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons on the Feast of the Epiphany 2018. He has been serving as Deacon at St Edmund’s since Palm Sunday of that same year.
Mark has a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary, the divinity school of Columbia University, and a Certificate in Anglican Studies from Church Divinity School of the Pacific, a member institution of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California.
Mark has had a long career in development and fundraising, working for such organizations as the International Rescue Committee and the Visual Arts Foundation in New York City, the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, the Peninsula Open Space Trust in Palo Alto, and currently serves as Endowment and Planned Giving Officer for the Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.
Mark and his partner Eric Scot reside in Pasadena.
