Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19

Wednesday Nights
Beginning March 13
6:30 pm in the Library

Everything we know about God we know because people who have had encounters with the divine have shared those experiences with others. The greatest gift we have to give to one another and to the world is the story of our walk with God.
This Lent, we will be exploring sacred story in a number of ways. We will explore some encounters with God from Hebrew and Christian scripture. We will read spiritual biographies from both the ancient mothers and father of the church and from contemporary people of faith. We will see how faith stories have been conveyed in the visual arts, music, drama, dance and film. And we will reflect on our own encounters with God and, if we are comfortable doing so, share them with one another.

The Lenten series will meet Wednesday nights
March 13 – April 17 at 6:30 pm in the Library.
Father Bill will provide a supper of soup, bread and salad for the first meeting, people can sign up to bring food for subsequent sessions. Each session will be somewhat self-contained, so come as often as you can.
