The Sixth Sunday After Easter, May 1st, 2016

We enjoyed perfect Southern California weather for the Blessing of our new Parish Sign, given by the Angeloff Family in honor and memory of Dann V. Angeloff, Jr.

Trumpeter Aaron Smith piped us forward, and our Acolytes and estimable Choir led us from the Sign into the Nave and Sanctuary for a continuation of our worship.

This coming Friday is our Nursery School Fundraiser. Our Nursery School has been named once again the Best in the San Gabriel Valley by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune newspaper group, and our Parish has again been named the Best Church. Results hit the press May 22nd!

May 22nd is also the Sunday on which we will honor our High School Graduates, and offer gratitude for our Sunday School teachers. May is chock-a-block full of family, school and parish activities (Healing Hearts, Mother’s Day, Justice Warriors, Organ Concerts, Summer Supper Kick-Off, the Feast of Pentecost, Martín Chalifour 75th Concert), so keep to prayer, and watch those calendars!

A Blessed Eastertide,
GFW+
